March DAP 4 Week Intensive

All mornings will start with a mindset exercise and daily intention setting practice, we go through life with 50,000 thoughts a day, giant checklists and a bunch of to do’s. Let’s begin by slowing down, grounding in and setting an intention on what we want to receive for the day. 

Week 1 DAP Development and Discovery

“Not all face frames are created equal” In this portion of our training we will be diving deep into the  understanding of hairlines. As much as hairlines vary so will your placement.  Some may require more weaves, tease, dropout or full slices, angle changes ect.  Lets get past the second guessing, knowing exactly what to do
Is where I want you to be, why? Because having unshakable certainty and a predictable result makes you a master of your craft. 

Week 2 Intentional Creation

To really understand how to create a look, we have to get into the hair and start taking apart each section bit by bit. lets dive in together to gain a greater understanding how how placement affects the look when the hair is in its natural state. in week two, its time for us to establish a system of operations, lock in muscle memory exercises of application and create a look with deeper understanding.  This weeks focus is on the crown and parietal ridge. 

Week 3 Calibration and Collaboration

Most artists spend some of their time in areas that matter and most of their time in places that don’t. Color placement from occipital to nape is what I categorize as accent color,  it’s created to impact the outline of the hair and bring dimension into negative space. “So where should I even start”  is what most people ask. 
Let’s figure out the whys first. Week 3 is all prep work for your test out day of creation.

Week 4:Reflection and Integration

This week its your time to shine. You get me as a guide, but this is where you get to integrate what you've learned in the last 4 weeks on a real life model. In this weeks training we will be diving into speciality services like root melts, tip outs and wet balayage.
